Yogya
So I haven’t been posting much at all recently. it’s about to change now. Last week i installed a cable modem, and now i can online 24 hrs a day 7 days a week. hehehe…
What I’m about to write today is my vacation to Yogyakarta last week. So, here we go..
day 1, We, me and erwin arrived at Adisucipto Airport at 22:00. The flight was delayed for half hour from 20:30 to 21:00. It’s a windy night. Tommy who about to get married on saturday was willing to pick us up at the airport and drop us to the hotel. Thank Tommy. The hotel was accomodate by Tommy as a bribe for us who have come far away from Jakarta to Yogya only for his wedding day. Hehehehe… it’s worth it ya tomm.
day 2, We went to kota gede (Gede City) to browse silver craftmanship. From silver ring to Borobudur temple miniatur were present there. Feri bought a bracelet for whom it may concern. hehehehe..
After having lunch at dyah’s relative in Yogya, We continue to Borobudur temple. It’s rain heavily when we got there. We rent 4 umbrella to avoid us from rain. But it didn’t stop us. We march to the top with pocket camera in our hand, and shoot along the way. How narsis we are, you can check in my flickr photo.
After visiting Borobudur, we went back to Yogya at night to visit Malioboro street. There are a lot batik seller there with many souvenir that was known best in Yogya. We start filling out hand with plastic bag full of batik.
Dyah and reza pebriadi decided went back to the hotel at 21:00. They were too tired to continue browsing Malioboro street. So we continued ourselves without them. We drank Kopi Joss, it a usual coffe with fresh hot carcoal in it. It’s added fresh when the coffe is made. The taste ? It’s the same I think. So what makes the difference? the visitors are mostly college student from Yogya area. So that’s exactly what we were looking for. bwahahahaha….
Day 3, Our alarm shows us it’s 6 in the morning already. We went to bath one by one. Breakfast already been served when we’re done make up. hihihihi… Our driver had come to pick us up to Tommy’s wedding. It’s a differnt person though.
We start leaving to tommy’s at 8. So we’re not too late for the akad. When we got there, the groom and the bride have not been presented yet. There are many relatives from both family. But it seem’s the only friends from tommy who present there was just us. Poor Tommy, but that’s the consequenses having a wedding party far away from home.
The ceremony took almost half an hour, Before they change dress, we start going to the stage and asked for a photograph. Then we went off to find souvenir and Yogya favourite well known gudeg.
